Best Ever Paleo Salted Maple Latte Recipe
My new favorite drink: Paleo Salted Maple Latte!
First, I tried the Bulletproof Coffee recipe. It's awesome and healthy. I'm not a fan of coconut oil and needed a bit more sweet to the drink. After all, I'm trying to find a healthier alternative for the Vanilla White Mocha at Caribou Coffee.
How I Make It:
I use a single serving K-Cup for our Keurig (pick a subtle flavor if you want, but be mindful of the ingredients). Fill your mug with coffee, then toss that in the blender. Add 1 TBSP or so of Kerrigold Irish Butter (we buy ours at HyVee or Costco). Add 1 TBSP of coconut cream (in the can, from the fridge, scoops out like ice cream), 1 TBSP of pure maple syrup OR honey OR three dates, and 1 TBSP of Great Lakes Gelatin (optional, but awesome for joint health). Blend all ingredients.
Once blended, sprinkle a smidge of cinnamon on top! Enjoy!
